ALFRED NEWCOMBE WARBURTON, JR. July 30, 1914 - November 14, 2003 In Walnut Creek. Survived by Marjorie McCoy Warburton, three children, Mrs. Diane Hemphill of Boise Idaho, Mrs. Darcy Muir of Eagle Point Oregon, and Mr. Ted Warburton of Brisbane CA, along with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and a niece, Mrs. Jean Blanchard Laughlin. He attended Lakeview Grammar School in Oakland, Oakland High School, Stanford University, Class of 1935, Stanford University Graduate School of Business, MBA 1937, and Harvard Business School 41st AMP. He worked 37 years for Kaiser Industries and retired as V.P. of Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation. He was a past member of the Metropolitan Yacht Club of Oakland and the Richmond Yacht Club. He was the son of the late Alfred N. Warburton and Emma Darricott Smith. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mrs. H.P. (Althea) Blanchard. At his request no services will be held. A celebration of his life will follow at a later date. The family requests that any donations in his name be made to the March of Dimes or charity of choice.
