Bob Glatt

ROBERT "BOB" LESLIE GLATT entered peacefully into rest at his San Lorenzo home on Ausust 25, 2001. He was 74.

Born in Oakland on April 26, 1927, Bob had attended Oakland High School and was active in the Hopkins Athletic Association and loved basketball. he had proudly served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in the South Pacific.

Bob married the girl next door, Carolina "Pat" Long, and they made the Bay Area their home for the past 53 years. They had 4 daughteres, Kathleen, Carolina, Jane and Georgetta. Bob enjoyed watching his daughters compete in horse shows, sleeping in lighthouses and taking numberous trips to the Sierras with his children, 13 grandkids and numberous nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his beloved sister, "Millie Pie" and her husband Russ and deeply appreciated his sons-in-law, Scott and Alex. Bob supported many activities at St. John's Catholic Church, especially bake sales, breakfasts, dances and carnivals. He was also the owner of Airmaster Co., and had worked with his dad for 50 years.

Later, he and Carolina became active in the Eden Rockers Square Dance Club, where Bob was an official "Yellow Rock" instructor. he never lost touch with his high school buddies, and they and their wives met regularly. Bob was a good friend to many, and he gave and received a lot of joy.

Bob was laid to rest Tuesday at Amador Cemetery in Pioneer, CA.
