Jean M. Hyde Jean M. Hyde Jean Murray Hyde died at John Muir Hospital Tuesday, June 22, 2004 after a long battle with diabetes and heart trouble. She was born in Oakland January 14, 1927 to Warren S. and Mary Tait Hyde. She was a graduate of the University of California and a lifelong Bear Backer enjoying Cal football and basketball. She was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She worked for the University and their nemesis Stanford. She was administrative assistant to Arjay Miller, Dean of the Stanford Graduate Business School. Jean enjoyed travel and was an avid reader. She retired to Rossmoor in 1989. Jean much enjoyed her family. She is survived by her stepmother, June Hyde of San Anselmo, her sister, Kathy Sennello of Petaluma, her brother, Warren Hyde of Elk Grove, nephews Brian and Scott Sennello of Davis, Trevor at the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Peter of Petaluma; and her niece Mary of Petaluma. Also survived by her cousin Robert Tait of Upland. Jean was buried in the family plot in Santa Rosa in the Scottish tradition with bagpipes playing.
