Resident of Grants Pass

Former resident Barbara Lieber-Mackay passed away in Grants Pass, Oregon on August 29, 2013. She was 86 years old.

After graduating from Stanford, Mrs. Lieber-Mackay taught in the Campbell and Union School Districts from 1952 to 1974. She was a charter member and past president of Delta Kappa Gamma, Gamma Omega Chapter.

Mrs. Lieber-Mackay was the granddaughter of John Bishop, mining engineer in the New Almaden mines, and grand-niece of John Drew, superintendent of New Almaden Mines.

She is survived by her husband, Gerry, her son Eric (Pam), cousins John and Nancy Drew of San Jose and long-time friend Marge Elizondo of Saratoga.
