Lynn E. Dini March 19, 1929 - May 1, 2012 Resident of Walnut Creek Lynn was born in Oakland, the daughter of Evelyn and Robert Dealey. She graduated from Oakland High, Class of 1947, and attended City College of San Francisco. She was married to Lawrence Dini for almost 60 years, with whom she raised their three sons. Lynn was an active parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Walnut Creek until illness kept her homebound. She had a special place in her heart for the sick, especially sick and orphaned children. Lynn cherished time spent with her family and friends, all the more so if it included travel. She felt a special bond with her high school chums and with the church ladies. Lynn died peacefully after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence, and by her three sons, Michael, Christopher, and Robert. She also leaves behind her sister, Paula, and brothers Robert and Lawrence Dealey. Her grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason Dini, whom she helped raise, will miss her dearly, along with many nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Monday, May 14th at St. Mary's Church, 2039 Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Walnut Creek, to be followed by a reception in the parish hall, and then by a committal service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1965 Reliez Valley Rd., Lafayette.
