Nancy Ann Pearlman

Nancy Pearlman Nancy Ann Sawley -- Remembering Nancy at Christmas, 73, Loving wife of Clifford O. Sawley. Nancy was called to the Lord September 28, 2003. She was surrounded by her family and friends at The Retirement Inn of Fremont, where she was so much loved by so many. Our Nana is remembered for her kind, generous spirit, always giving, always thinking of others, never thinking of herself or wanting to trouble others. She always chose to see the good in people, and always had encouraging words for friends and family alike. All she asked for in return - were hugs.

Nancy is survived and deeply missed this Holiday season by her Husband of 42 years, Clifford; Her son and daughter-in-law, Larry A. and Janice R. Lee of Simi Valley, CA and grandsons, Aaron and Alex; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah A. and William Gaarde of Carlsbad, CA and grandsons, Rich and Mike; daughter, Becky Sawley and life-mate, Carmen of Vallejo, CA; step-son, Mike Sawley and wife, Young Sook of Oakland, CA; step-daughter, Melinda Sawley and husband, Bill of Marysville, CA; dearest aunt and uncle, Louise and Richard Bilskey of Oakland, CA; niece, Paula Bilskey of Fremont, CA; nephew, Walter Bilskey and wife, Patty of Madera, CA.

Nancy was born Nancy Pearlman in Oakland, CA on Oct. 30, 1929, and graduated from Oakland High School. Nancy was a long-time employee of the Lawrence Livermore Radiation Laboratory and a member of Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church. Nancy and Clif retired to Paradise Park Masonic Community in the Redwoods above Santa Cruz, CA, where they lived for 22 years. They were very active with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Nancy was a very active member, Deacon, and supporter of The Santa Cruz Presbyterian Church; and a volunteer for the Red Cross.
