Jack Goltermann Werner John Goltermann Apr. 29, 1930 - Jan. 4, 2012 Resident of Pleasanton Werner John Goltermann, longtime resident of Pleasanton, passed away at Rideout Hospital in Marysville on Wed., Jan. 4th, 2012 at the age of 81. He succumbed after battling a long- term illness. He was born in Hoboken, NJ on April 29, 1930 to Ferdinand and Anna Goltermann. Moving to California in 1960, Jack took a teaching position at Oakland High School. He taught sports, math, German, driver education, and retired in 1995. He then traveled and enjoyed retired life. Jack is survived by his wife, Rosmarie of Browns Valley; his two daughters Susan Rogers of Browns Valley and Sigrid Norman of West Point; his granddaughter Heidi Rogers of Chico; and his brother Fred Golt of North Hills. Jack is dearly missed and will be remembered as an outdoor enthusiast, backpacker, camper, mountain climber, schuhplattler (a Bavarian Folk dancer), teacher, and Golden Retriever lover. A private memorial celebration of Jack's life is planned for Feb. 18 in Sacramento. Neptune Society of No. CA (530) 345-7200.
