Funeral services were held today in Ontario for Miss Alice L. Love, 55, teacher at Oakland High School for 27 years, who died Wednesday in Pomona while on a vacation visit to her family.

A graduate of Pomona College she first taught in Williams. In 1926 she began her long tenure in the Oakland High School, where she still was under contract as counselor and mathematics instructor at the time of her death.

She began as a physical education instructor and was head of that department for some time. She changed to mathematics in 1940. Her home here is at 291 Lester Avenue.

Surviving are two brothers, Herbert S. Love of Ontario and Edward C. Love of Pomona.
